MENUS

Chef and Owner Gino Rivera, originally from Peru, has crafted a menu that seamlessly blends the elegance of Italian cuisine with the fresh, local ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. Infused with occasional Peruvian touches that reflect his heritage, each dish is a celebration of both authenticity and creativity.

From hand-cut steaks and fresh local seafood to expertly prepared pastas, the menu highlights the region’s finest offerings, skillfully prepared to deliver a unique and elevated dining experience that blends the best of Italy, the Northwest, and Gino’s native Peru.

OUR STORY

Gino’s journey began in the coastal town of Chiclayo, Peru, where his mother owned a seafood restaurant called Dos Y Uno, just five minutes from the beach. The restaurant was famous for its fresh clams, crab, and oysters, bought daily from the nearby pier. In 1989, he followed his brother to Western Washington to start a new chapter where he found himself working for local restaurants where he met Kelly and later got married. Kelly grew up in California and Virginia where she worked at the front of the house at serval fine dining restaurants.

In 2002, Gino and Kelly opened their first restaurant, Gino’s Bistro, which is now Gino’s Pizza, Pasta & Co. Over the years, the couple raised their four children — Keanu, Max, Kiara, and Nyah — in the lower Browns Point area, instilling a strong work ethic in them as they all began working at the family restaurants from the age of 14. These years have been filled with not only hard work but also countless memories and enduring relationships with their customers. Summer days were often spent at Dash Point Beach, where Kelly would take the kids to play and then treat them to clam chowder from the original Lobster Shop. In 2017, Gino and Kelly took a full circle step, purchasing the very restaurant that had become such a special part of their family’s story. Now known as Gino’s at the Point, this newest addition to their restaurant family is where Gino cooks and his two daughters still work, it remains a celebration of both past memories and new beginnings.

Reviews

“It was great to return to Gino’s. As a kid I frequently visited the location when it was Harry’s Store and enjoyed it again as the Lobster Shop. Now it's back to a fine restaurant in a great location."

"We’ve now been to Gino’s twice, trying a range of their offerings. On both occasions, the food and service were excellent. The menu has some innovative dishes that are very tasty. Portion size is large enough to share appetizers and mains. Family-run and small enough to feel personal. Beautiful seaside location."

"Ginos is amazing. The food, service, everything. 2 of us got the twin tenderloin, flavor is to die for. No salt or pepper needed on any of the foods. I suggest reservations, they can fill up quick, last night was perfect! 3 tables total out of 12 ish tables.. FOOD WAS AMAZING. Go eat there if you get the chance. Cute little family owned restaurant. You will not be disappointed."

"This is not a corporate chain but a family business driven with love and passion. Since discovering this gem, we’ve chosen this as our go to for family celebrations. Recently, I wanted to surprise my wife with some extra special arrangements at dinner. I called Gino’s and they did everything they could to team up with me and accommodate my special requests. It took the night from just another night at our favorite restaurant, to a special memory we will never forget. Businesses like Gino’s are the ones we need to continue to support. It’s worth every penny and drive to get there."

“Gino’s is a treat. Awesome Italian inspired food! It’s a hidden gem. I have visited Gino’s before, the food is always consistent and delicious. Great wine selection too. Great place for dates cozy and intimate. Give Gino’s a try you won’t be disappointed! The waitress staff is amazing as well."

"The ambiance, scenic views and small venue gave this place an extremely relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Great for a date night. Service was flawless, food and presentations were perfect and I can’t wait to go back. It’s rare to have a meal (drinks, apps, dinner, desert) not have a single thing wrong. I will be going back 100%."
